How much is the Atlantis Submarine in 2026?

From $151 per adult on Viator while the current sale runs, against a regular $168; children 12 and under pay about $68 (regularly about $76).

There is one ticket for the standard dive, so every departure costs the same. Hawaii residents with ID can ask Atlantis for kama'aina rates, which are sold direct rather than through Viator.

What does the ticket include?

The shuttle boat from the Hilton Hawaiian Village pier and back, about 45 minutes underwater in the 64-passenger Atlantis XIV, live English narration, recorded audio in four languages, and local taxes.

It does not include hotel pickup, food or drinks, souvenir photos or gratuities. The Viator listing's small print also shows hotel pickup and gratuities as exclusions, so plan to get yourself to the kiosk.

What times does the submarine dive?

Departures run roughly every hour from 9 or 10 AM until 2 PM, and you check in 20 minutes before your slot.

The slots offered change by day and by channel: on a typical September day Viator showed 10 AM, 11 AM, noon, 1 PM and 2 PM. Early dives tend to be quieter, and a morning slot leaves the afternoon free.

Is it cheaper to book direct or on Viator?

Often it is about the same: Viator's current sale is $151, and Atlantis runs its own online discounts, so compare both on the day you book.

The differences are in the fine print. Viator lets you cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before and keeps your booking with your other tours. Atlantis's own booking terms allow cancellation up to 12 hours before, and residents can only get kama'aina rates direct. Either way you ride the same submarine.

How much do children pay?

Children 12 and under pay less than half the adult fare, about $68 on the current Viator sale, as long as they are at least 36 inches (91 cm) tall.

Are there extra costs on the day?

Only small ones: $4 for four hours of validated self-parking at the Hilton, any souvenir photos you buy, and an optional tip for the crew.

There is no food or drink on the tour and no restroom on the submarine, so eat and use the facilities before check-in. Valet parking is not validated.

What happens if the dive is cancelled?

Atlantis can cancel for rough seas or poor visibility, sometimes on the morning itself, and offers a refund or another time.

That is why it pays to book early in your stay. One reviewer was already on the way when a dive was cancelled for visibility, so keep your phone on and check your email before you set off.

Is the ticket good value?

It is the priciest per minute of any way to see the underwater world here, but it is also the only one that takes you 100 feet down without getting wet.
